TERMS OF SERVICE & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

General Terms:

By using our services, you agree to these terms and acknowledge responsibility for the condition and care instructions of all items submitted.

Item Care & Responsibility

• Customers are responsible for identifying delicate, special-care, or non-machine-washable items at pickup.

• Items not identified will be processed using standard wash-and-fold procedures.

• We are not responsible for damage caused by normal washing, drying, or folding processes.

Pockets & Personal Items

Customers must remove all personal items from clothing prior to pickup.

Fresh Threads Laundry is not responsible for damage caused by items left in pockets, including ink, gum, or electronics.

Loss or Damage Limitation

In the rare event of loss or damage:

• Liability is limited to 10× the charge for the affected item, not to exceed $100 per order, unless otherwise required by law.

• We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Shrinkage

  • Color bleeding

  • Normal wear and tear

Hygiene & Contamination

Fresh Threads Laundry reserves the right to refuse service for items contaminated with:

• Bodily fluids

• Mold

• Excessive pet waste

• Hazardous materials

Such items pose health and safety risks.

Pickup & Delivery

• Customers are responsible for ensuring laundry is accessible at scheduled pickup times.

• Missed pickups may incur a $15 fee.

• Contactless delivery may be used unless otherwise requested.

Payment Terms

• A $25 booking deposit is required to confirm service.

• Final pricing is based on actual weight and applicable mileage fees.

• Payment is due prior to delivery.

• Deposits are non-refundable once pickup occurs.

Same-Day & Express Services

• Same-day and express services are subject to availability.

• Payment for same-day service is required immediately after weighing and before washing begins.

Service Refusal

Fresh Threads Laundry reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion for safety, hygiene, or policy violations.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.​​
